I feel like many of the lesbian fans want Brittany and Santana to have a full on, nude, make out session sometimes. I feel like they feel the same way about Kurt and Blaine. I think that they also feel that sometimes that we have not handled those characters exactly like they want. And to that I say, you know what, you’re probably right. I think there’s some things in the last two seasons maybe we could have done a little more artfully and a little bit more carefully and a little more, um, respectfully is the wrong word, but I sort of do get the criticisms. And look, you’re doing a show and it’s very, a lot of things happen, you try to do your best and sometimes that doesn’t work out.
Ryan Murphy completely missing the point. (via butterscotchcreys)
Yep because Finchel has “full on, nude, make out sessions”. Okay Ryan. Don’t blame fans because you were stupid enough to criticize another show for something that your show is now guilty of. (via timemcflies)
please ryan, please explain condescend some more how fans are being entitled because of all the nakie sexy makeouts we want when in reality most people are asking for some goddamned equal representation when it comes to shit like plot points, background moments, shared scenes, and oh, i don’t know, FUCKING DIALOGUE BETWEEN THE QUEER COUPLES, not, you know, actual porn. THESE ARE THINGS YOU CAN CONTROL, RYAN. you just choose to do so in ineffective, pseudo-lolzy ways, like that fucking throwaway line about how brittany forgot to speak for a few months.
can’t always do queer pda on network television? fine, i get that. it sucks and society is fucked up, but i get it. but turning the queer couples into ghost couples that only occasionally get to glance at each other?? that is all on you, ryan murphy, and fuck you for not being able to distinguish between the two. (via sexyglances)
Oh Jesus Fuck, Ryan. Jesus Fuck.
The saddest thing about this is that I’m sure he thinks he’s being tactful and addressing complaints by admitting wrongdoing, but he completely negates it both with the callous way he phrases things (respectful is exactly the word you should be using, Ryan, and exactly what was missing this season), and the fact that he undermine’s a request for parity between queer and straight representation by likening it to wanting to watch two girls/guys make out.
WAY TO MISS THE DAMN POINT.
Ugh, I also hate that it sounds like he’s just parroting the accusations of other shippers who always go on and on about those damn “entitled” Klainer 12s.
