the new break up clip that was played on ellen and shows (rachal and brody duet give your heart a break) made the song leaps up on the itunes charts so it means that (teenage dream) needs promotion.
Yea, that’s not a surprise, Lea sounds faaaaaaaaaaaabulous, it’s stuck in my head now. DON’T WANT TO BREAK YOU HEARRRT, WANNA GIVE YOU HEART A BREAK!!! (That’s it, that’s all I know of the song.)
I suspect that the songs that appeal to multiple fan bases, like “Don’t Speak” and “The Scientist” are going to have the best sales this week. TD will probably do well, but the fact that it’s a different version from the audio used in the show (since Darren sang live during filming) might affect things, as will whether or not Blaine actually manages to make it through the whole song. LOL, if he breaks down or something in the middle of it, that will put a crimp in sales because a lot of the general audience won’t realize the one for sale is the full version.
I’m curious to see how it all shakes out, really. :-)

Nah, I’m not crazy about Blainchel. You’d think I would, since Blaine and Rachel are my two favorite characters, but I love Klaine too much to ever, ever ship them with someone else. I love the Anderberry friendship dynamic, though, and I’ve always wished we got more of that than just RIB+ making them sing duets together for song sales. :-P
But for that tag specifically, it comes from Mercedes’s line in that episode, “It looks like the ‘Rachel Berry House Party Train-wreck Extravaganza’ is officially a go.”

I don’t think I ever read much in the way of TW fic, and what I can remember reading was all pretty bad. I was never really involved in that fandom, I was just a big fan of the show. LOL, until season three.

I just meant this episode I’m pretty sure they’re splitting, because Kurt’s not allowed to be happy with all aspects of his life at the same time, and they need to setup whatever the dumb Dalton plot for Blaine will be.
Klaine is the endgamiest of endgame on this show.

I think Brittana won’t break up either, but Klaine and Finchel are splitsville for real (until their inevitable reunion). Which, TBH, will kind of be a relief.
At least if they split up Klaine now after setting up a realistic and balanced plot they’re less likely to ruin them as a couple in a month or so when RM gets bored and decides the show needs another third party cheating plot.

But what that tweet meant is that Darren sang live during the filming, it wasn’t just him lip-syncing along with the pre-recorded track like most Glee songs.
Glee has filmed a few songs live in the past, but it was usually for songs that they didn’t release, like “What a Girl Wants” or “Ride Wit Me” in S1. I think it’s pretty rare (possibly even the first time?) for them to film the song live and still release a studio version.
