He spent the evening sitting alongside Dakota Fanning, Stephen Moyer, Anna Paquin, Nasim Pedraf and more at the Huffington Post table. Later in the night, he chatted politics with Martin Bashir during the MSNBC afterparty. Not to mention, Darren was looking quite dapper in his bowtie and Rock The Vote button.

‘Glee’s’ Darren Criss gets bipartisan support
One of our favorite sightings during this year’s White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner weekend was “Glee’s” Darren Criss happily chatting with former RNC Chairman Michael Steele. Steele considers himself a “Gleek” and was really excited to see both Criss and “Glee” castmate Matthew Morrison at the MSNBC after party, but sadly for Steele, Criss plays for the other team — politically speaking.
The singer has been enlisted to appear at an LGBT fundraiser for President Obama on Wednesday in Los Angeles at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, replacing the singer Pink, who had to bow out due to a bad case of the stomach flu, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Following the fundraiser, POTUS will also attend a dinner hosted at the home of “Glee’s” creator Ryan Murphy, with tickets selling for $40,000 per couple.

So as I posted before my best friend Rachel (katiephoenix.tumblr.com) and I went to stalk out the White House Correspondence Dinner last night but could not stay long because of heavy security and pissy police officers. However her mother, who is a reporter for the DC branch of ABC, was a guest at the dinner. We texted her asking to TELL US if she saw Darren Criss inside but she kept texting back “Haven’t seen him :(“. We eventually gave up because it was cold and we really didn’t have a chance of seeing Darren when he left because the dinner wouldn’t be over for five hours. So we went back to my house and watched Starkid shows all night.
This morning, when I went to drop her off at her house, her mom and brother weren’t home. However, when we walked into the kitchen we found two envelopes with our names on them. I love Mrs. Stark but she is a fucking liar…
I just wanna thank the members of Congress who took a break from their exhausting schedule of not passing any laws to be here tonight
